All major injuries and fatalities at the workplace are mostly results of falling from a height. One of the two major causes of these falls is falling from ladders (the second being through fragile roofs).

Work at Height Regulations 2005 (WAHR) sets out guidelines to protect employees from injuries or death caused by falling from height during any activity at the workplace.

It is , therefore, of utmost importance that for any work at height the employer should employ only competent individuals who are adequately trained to work at heights. The whole activity should be precisely planned, supervised, and executed to ensure the safety of the employee(s) involved.

Anyone using ladders at the workplace should be made aware of ways to use them safely and also be educated about their limitations. If you or your employees need to use ladders regularly at work, this course if will be perfect for you.

ELB Solutions Ltd's Basic Ladder Awareness Training course will guide the learner about how to set up ladders correctly, how to carry out inspections and check your ladders to make sure that they are fit for use, and other aspects that will make sure that ladders are used safely at your workplace.

Enrolling your employees to this course will not only make you compliant with the regulations but also ensure that your staff has the necessary knowledge to prevent injuries or death while working.
